Draft outline This lists what the page has to cover. Replace it with text reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
What we collect
- Your name and avatar from GitHub or Google, if you sign in with them. If you use email and password, your email and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password; we can never see the password itself.
- Your email, which you give us when you sign up, for your account and updates about your apps. It’s never shown publicly or shared.
- Your votes, with a scrambled network prefix used to spot vote rigging. We never store your full IP address.
- What you submit: app details, screenshots and video.
Cookies
- One sign-in cookie and one visitor cookie, both needed to run battles fairly. No ad or tracking cookies.
- Page-view statistics come from Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Sound and motion settings stay in your browser.
Payments
- Stripe processes launch package payments. Card details never reach Makers Clash.
Deleting your data
- Delete your account in Settings. Your profile and apps are removed. Votes stay without your name, so ratings don’t change.
